I just read an announcement that another movie in the series is in the works. Normally, I’d find this depressing – since the quality of each movie only decreased as the series went on – but the new one is being directed by Christopher Nolan, who directed Memento. Also, the lead role goes to Christian Bale of American Psycho and Laurel Canyon. So it could easily get rid of some of the tarnish from the dumbed-down, “kiddified” productions of the latter entries.<\/p>\n
